I have loved fabric my entire life. As a kid I spent hours going through my mom’s extensive fabric stash, savoring the vast array of styles, colors and themes. As an adult my love of fabric was rekindled when I realized that making handmade objects was a major need in my life. After studying industrial design in art school and working in the industrial design field, I realized I missed the connection one feels when they make an item with their own two hands. I now work in a more technical field for a software company in the San Francisco Bay Area and designing fabric and creating with fabric has become my creative outlet. Nothing feels better than designing a great fabric that can become the building block for a beautiful handmade object.
