Designers,
The competition is heating up…the last round of judging was very difficult.
Your third design challenge is to map the geography of your life. Where have you been? Where are you now? Where are you going? Take us on the journey of your life, wherever that may be. From your heritage, to your childhood, maybe skip sixth grade, and pick back up again after puberty…unless you were that amazingly popular middle schooler (yeah, right). If you are only looking forward, feel free to predict your future (or at least a dream). Please create one bold primary print and a secondary print that supplements the primary print. Imagine you are making a quilt that features one fabric, this would your primary print, includes small pieces of your secondary print, and three solid colors.
This challenge is due on May 9th by midnight. The guest judges this month are our quilting tool inventors: Susan Brown from TQM Products (she can help make your bindings look professional) and Linda Warren from Linda Warren Designs (she can help you master your curves).
Just one contestant will be eliminated, but don’t get too comfy, the competition is getting fierce. Good Luck!
RESULTS

Some of my favorites so far are Krissy Callahan’s Block Party
and Krishna Chavda’s Circumnavigate. Don’t you think they would look good together in a quilt!
I loved Jessica Pollak’s designs inspired by cherry blossoms and sashiko. She really personalized her concept and I think the result is great.
