Guest Judge: Kim Kight

SONY DSCWe are thrilled to have back Kim Kight back to help judge REPEAT(ed). Kim is best described as a fabric connoisseur whose blog True Up is a textile wanderlust. Kim keeps a pulse on large and small fabric companies and designers from around the world. Through True Up Kim has been able to share her passionate journey through the world of fabric and definitely has the wanderlust spirit.

Kim is not just a blogger though, she is also the author of the inspiring book every budding fabric designer should read A Field Guide to Fabric Design. The book explores all the basics of fabric design and provides clear step-by-step directions on how to design fabric. The book also played a role in coming up with the idea to hold fabric design competitions. So if you get the design bug while following REPEAT(ed) and feel inspired to start designing fabric Kim’s book can get you started on right path. Meanwhile grab a cup of tea and head on over to True Up for a textile adventure.
