flea market FINDS – Madeleine Roberg

I got up this morning all prepared for a little flea market find photo shoot and lo and behold my favorite flea market find has gone missing. It was a very recent acquisition and had not yet found a “home” when I left for New England last week (at that time it was hanging out on the kitchen counter). So while I was away it appears that Jason has managed to find it a home and since he has not responded to my urgent text messages I will share with you some of my other FINDS.

This is a corner of my basement studio. I am slowly working on making it a cozy work space. The only thing that isn’t a thrifting FIND is the fabulous lampshade my mom made way back in the day. The basement floor is a bit unattractive so I am working on collecting great rugs. The little sewing chair I picked up for five dollars and I plan on recovering it one of these days.

According to the dealer this rug was made in Oaxaca, Mexico.

This rug is reported to have been made in Peru. I picked it up in a consignment shop in Golden, CO.
